Well i researched this kit in another thread http://www.bmwcarforums.com/threads/dynavin-clones.1121/ and it arrived last week, haven't had chance to install it yet but hoping to this weekend

Really pleased with it, looks like BMW Kit, not cheap and nasty at all.

Will take some unboxing photos later and upload

Anyone else installed one of these or installed any other Double Din type head units ?
I know I have to bin the sunglasses holder shelf and move the AC Controls down into that section.

I have read conflicting reports as to whether you really need a new converter unit to hold the AC controls in place in its new position or not ?

Attached are some unboxing images of the Enco B046 kit, it was very well packaged, I purchased the additional DVB-T receiver which is the 7th image shown.

    OK I have installed it

Few glitches so far, Satellite Navigation doesn't work (won't lock on), Radio needs an adaptor for the aerial connection lead, Wi-Fi crashes when I try and join a network (Known issue) but I am hopeful of sorting out the first and second is an easy fix so overall very happy

    It looks superb

The install was much easier than i anticipated, took about 1.5hrs from start to finish and most of that was for running DVB-T aerial and GPS Leads behind dash etc

    See some install photos below

    ok update so far:

Got the sat nav working, now running iGo and it works fine, although the women's voice seems incapable of saying "Next" and instead says "Net" lol

There are no buttons to access the Android "menu" or "back" functions so if you hit a wrong key then its back to home or wait for a timeout

The iPod interface needs work as it doesn't do coverart or album listings and so all music is listed in one long list by track, however if you put your music on a micro sd card with albums in folders with coverart within the Android Music app shows them perfectly

I have installed Torque Pro App and trying to get it up and running with a BT OBD-II Scanner, I also have Cut the Rope, F1 Timing App 2012, Wheres the Water apps all running fine, Even Angry Birds installs but won't run without a data connection

On the data connection front I have a Vodafone USB Dongle which I will be connecting up this weekend (rear USB Connectors support these apparently)

I have also purchased a nano mini BT USB Dongle and a Tiiny 4 Way USB Splitter to go in the glove compartment in an effort to get the Torque app running

Overall very happy with the unit, few glitches, and peculiarities but does what it is supposed to

http://depositfiles.com/files/mhw2opt8w download this file to install "Igo'

transfer the file to a SD Card, put the SD Card in the right hand slot and using file explorer double click 'igo.apk" to install

then you need to find the right map files for your country (torrents / newsgroups) and copy these to the correct place on the sd card (/Igo/content/map/) and should all work

Well its been a few weeks so have a few more tips / tweaks I have come across thx to some guys over on E46Zone

The Back button function in Android is accessed by clicking on the small Blue Left arrow icon (looks a bit like a navigation symbol) on the very top of the screen
The Menu button function in Android is accessed by clicking on the small icon that looks a little like a piece of paper with notes or a list

I have now installed the radio connection adaptor and have Radio functionality

Hi guest. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

I have a vodafone 3G PAYG Dongle and try as I might I cannot get this to work properly in the Android side of life on the B046, it is recognized and the small bars icon goes bold on the Enco unit to represent it has locked on, but no matter what APN combo i put in i cannot get internet to work !!!

I re-ran some of the cabling with a small USB hub now located in my glove box plugged into the top USB connector on the rear (There are two USB Connectors, the top one is accessible only from the Android function of the B046 and the bottom USB Connector is only accessible from the Radio (WinCE) side of the gear and can be used for Mass Storage for MP3/Video/Pictures etc

As most people have discovered the room is tight at the back of the unit when you plug in a USB Lead, I got around this eventually by "modding" the cable connector with a set of side cutters to make it more slender and more flexible, you can of course simply purchase a small 90 degree bend connector adaptor / lead from Ebay

I encountered another small issue and found the resolution elsewhere and thought I should post it here in case anyone else stumbles upon it

I had an issue where sometimes running iGO would bring up an error popup about content not being present, turns out this is due to the MicroSD Card I have being loaded with other stuff apart from the iGO Files, and everytime the Enco is switched on it has to initialise the card and scan files / folders which can take a long time and so when iGO starts it doesn't have access to the files and bombs out

Moral of it is to wait until the small SD Card icon disappears from the top Enco bar (Indicating that Initialisation is complete) before running iGO
